State Office of Labor Relations
We provide labor relations services for state managers and human resource officers in all executive branch agencies except the university system. Executive Order 40-2008 aestablished the bureau chief position as the Governor's authorized representative in all collective bargaining matters.
Things we do:
- negotiate labor agreements;
- provide assistance with contract administration and grievance processing;
- represent state management in labor arbitrations; and
- represent state management in matters involving collective bargaining and labor relations.
Our goal is to effectively represent the interests of state management while promoting cooperative labor-management relationships.
